The structure really helped me stay focused and be very productive. The built in check-ins make it feel sustainable. It's a mix of work and socializing that I don't always find on my own.
The ritual
The room hears you,
and the work shifts.
Pre-block
Out loud: what you're about to do.
Post-block
Out loud: how it went.
That's the ritual. Two questions, asked out loud, with other people in the room. It's how the work gets real.

Questions you probably have
FAQ
No. There are two tickets: Pitch as Founder if you want the hot seat, or Standard if you would rather watch, learn, and quietly sharpen your own pitch. Both get the full workshop.
Apply with the Pitch as Founder ticket. Spots are approved by the hosts and there are only six, so grab one early. If they fill up you can still come and work on your pitch during the working block.
Come anyway. The working block is about describing what you do clearly, whether that is a company, a side project, or your day job. Plenty of people leave with a much better answer to "so what do you do?"
No. Spoken pitch only, roughly 60 seconds. No slides, no deck, nothing to prepare in advance.
A guided stretch of focused work with a clear start and end. Phones down, one thing at a time. Here you will use it to write and tighten your pitch before the hot seats begin.
A Toronto venture fund investing at the earliest stages in consumer tech and future of work companies. One of their partners will be giving the live feedback.
